Heather Frid Jiménez draws upon more than 20 years of experience in innovative learning pedagogies. As a learning facilitator, her greatest inspirations include Montessori, Summerhill/Democratic Free Schools, Project-Based Learning, and Reggio Emilia. She is dedicated to providing learning environments in which children feel accepted, loved and cherished for who they are, where they can connect with their interests, direct and design their own learning and feel empowered within a supportive community.
Janiva Cifuentes Hiss served as a director of international education programs for more than 15 years, leading experiential learning journeys throughout Central and South America, India, East Africa, and Spain. She created and spearheaded a volunteer English immersion program in Costa Rican public schools for 9 years. She is also the founder of Kidtopia Camp. Janiva envisions a world in which learners of all ages develop the skills and tools to transform our world into a happier, healthier place for all.
